Together, Pinnacle and Big Holler implemented an on-line ordering process at Offerdahl's that is both easy to use and time saving for the consumer. In addition, there's a potential labor cost savings at the store level because of being able to use less phone order-takers.
One important aspect of the online ordering system is that it is completely integrated into Offerdahl's existing POSitouch system. Through the wireless touch screen handheld terminals, Offerdahl's employees can process a credit card from an online order, deliver the food, and complete the sales process in a matter of minutes or even seconds, putting Offerdahl's in a position to compete with the convenience of drive-thru.
