Janet Grillo is a native of Wilmington, Delaware.
At the age of fifteen, she began a career working part-time in a
jewelry store. After receiving an associate's degree from college, she decided to continue her career in the jewelry industry where she earned four diamond degrees from the Gemological Institute of America. Supervising thirty Fine Jewelry departments in two major department stores prepared Janet to open her own business in 1996.
Today, Janet specializes in selling diamonds and diamond jewelry. Janet created a business that was uniquely different to the jewelry industry. With much knowledge in her field, she successfully created a business working out of an office. All clients are obtained through referrals and met by appointment.
Freedom was and is very important to Janet. When not writing books or meeting with clients, Janet can be found on the golf course.
In 2006, Janet earned the title of "Madame President" after winning a golf championship at her club.
